Its Official, Devils Claw!

Ok, I am calling it. The mystery plant we found in the garden growing wild in indeed a devils claw. Actually about 6 of them in a patch.

Here is the indicative see pod that turns into the "claw" when it gets ripe. 

We are considering preserving the seeds and growing a patch of these next year. They are extremely medicinal for anti inflammatory herbal supplements.  In europe, devils claw root is very popular for arthritis treatments.
