This big fellow is the first snake we have seen this season. He looks like food has not been a problem!

It's a Gopher snake! They have been coming out of hibernation and sunning themselves on roads, trails, bike paths, and fields all over the valley the last couple of days :)
ReplyDeleteWe've had the snakes come out here, too. I found a bull snake then had to 'take care' of 2 rattlers. Icky!
